"I left my iphone on the seat, and realised it after half an hour. The staff are so nice and very helpful. They keep my phone and even waited in front of the restaurant to return my phone. It was very fortunate to have a very honest and kind staff at banana bro. Definitely will repeat to eat at this branch again. The place is clean and nice to dine in with your family. I give 100/10 rating for banana bro staff and the food is tasty as usual⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"Very happy to have bananabro in Ipoh now. Excited and came here for lunch. Happiness cut short, as the waitress did not allow 2 of us to sit at a table for 3-4. I was carrying a huge bag after shopping when I came in. There were not many customers at all and there were plenty of empty tables. I was asked to sit at a small table for 2. I told her politely if I could sit at a bigger table. I have to put my big shopping bag. She kept quiet. I proceeded to the bigger table. She came and pointed to the smaller table. Duduk sini. I told her why so rigid. The place is quite empty with few customers, if this is the case, I will choose to eat elsewhere. (Somewhere more comfortable for me, my guest and my stuff). She walked away. We were not served as well after sometime. Other branches in KL, there would be pencil and paper for us to write our orders. I called the waiters. The one who dealt with me earlier didn't want to serve us. Another waiter came. Took our orders. This same guy also served our food. He did everything well, except without any smiles and had unfriendly look. I am not sure if this branch train their staff well. Why service without any smiles and looked like you are just doing a mundane job. Food came piping hot, especially the fried chicken, even the gravy was warm. Fresh and tasty. Did not disappoint me at all. In fact this branch serve the food better than some branches in KL. Kudos to that. Environment is clean and nice. I love Banana bro! However why this branch fall short on their service? Not a single staff served with a smile. All looked moody and unfriendly. I wonder why. Everything went wrong for all staff today? Well don't bring it to the workplace. We are paying customers. Make us feel welcome and dine happily here. I have to minus 1 star for the level of service at this branch. I hope and expect to get better service next round when I am back."

"I read the mixed reviews before going there and had mixed feelings about it. However, I took a chance and nipped over on a Saturday afternoon (27/09/25) for lunch as I was at Ipoh parade. Service was prompt. Great smiles and friendly staff. Food portion were huge and free flow. Vegetables and rice were lots. Staff weren't stingy in dishing it out. You need to tell them how much you wanted. Chicken varuval wasn't too bad. I missed my mul malaga though. Cleanliness - Not too bad. I did not expect it to be perfect as it was a Saturday peak hour and the turnaround time was short between each customer."

"26 Mar 2025 We had the unlimited craving set RM13.90 each and Butter Chicken RM9.90. While we visited during the non-peak hours, the staff were quite passive. After proactively taking our order, the staff served us the first round. When we waved our hands for 2nd round, the staff served us rice only. When we waved again, they served us sauce and vegs. Waved again then they served us the cracker. We paid RM43.75 which I don’t think it’s really value for money compared to the ones we had before."
